Terms of service
The agreement between you and my-cbt.

1. The service
my-cbt provides a CBT practice management portal that we install on your website under your branding. The software is licensed monthly. The data entered into your portal saves to your database, which is yours.
2. Subscription and billing
Plans are billed monthly through Freemius. You can change or cancel your plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use my-cbt for anything other than your own clinical practice
- attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the software
- use the portal to store data that is not related to your practice (e.g. unrelated business records, third-party content you do not have rights to)
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the clinical decisions and the data inside your portal. We are responsible for the software working as documented. Compliance with local regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, provincial colleges, professional associations) is yours to manage; we provide tools that make compliance easier but do not replace your obligations.
5. Coaching plan
The Coached plan includes access to a human business coach with reasonable usage. “Reasonable” means ongoing back-and-forth in line with running a single therapy practice. It does not include unlimited synchronous calls, white-label consulting for other businesses, or work outside the scope of growing your practice.
6. Termination
Either party can end the agreement at any time. If we end it without cause, we give 30 days’ notice and a full refund of any unused billing period. If we end it for breach of these terms, we may end it immediately.
7. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for clinical outcomes, lost client engagement, or business loss.
8. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we email you the change at least 14 days before it takes effect.
